The Veterans Coffeehouse of Wallingford is a non-profit group consisting of Veterans whose goal is to join in on a monthly basis to re-connect and socialize on a military level. Since the founding in 2017, the organization has grown from just 25 members to between 45-60.

The meetings occur on every fourth Tuesday of the month with no cost to any unless they he or she feels the need to donate to our breakfast table, holiday luncheon, or any other special events. 

 

Each session occurs at the Wallingford Senior Center, who generously hosts our coffee table, supplies our coffee urns, tea, paper goods, and volunteer staff. We are also supported by our local businesses through funds and purchasing of items for a light breakfast that begins at 9:30am. Neil's Donuts has donated generously over the years and continues to do so today.

After the breakfast, the pledge of allegiance and a moment of silence is recognized. Each session features a military speaker with a presentation that begins promptly at 10:00am until 11:30am. A discussion an Q&A on the topics follows the presentation, giving the floor to any veteran or member of the crowd who would like to speak or ask questions. ​

The veterans of the Wallingford Coffeehouse are an exceptional group, all of whom have served their country in all levels of service that go above and beyond the call. We salute and love our veterans!
